These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of styleyourname.com and every tool, page and feature made available on it (the "Service"). The Service is operated by The Style Your Name team.

By browsing the site, generating a name or copying a design, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

Style Your Name is a free, browser-based set of name and typography tools. It converts the text you enter into decorative Unicode variants, adds gaming and aesthetic symbols, and lets you copy the result for use in other applications.

All generation happens locally in your browser. We do not guarantee that a particular style will be accepted by, or display correctly in, any specific game, app or device. Character support is controlled by the platform and the fonts installed on the viewer's device.

You may use the Service if you can form a binding contract with us under the law that applies to you. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. The Service is not directed at children under 13.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law, regulation or third-party right;
• create names that harass, threaten, defame or impersonate another person or brand, or that promote hate or illegal activity;
• infringe copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
• introduce malware, or interfere with the availability or integrity of the Service;
• resell, rebrand or pass off the Service, or a substantial part of it, as your own product;
• remove or obscure copyright, trademark or attribution notices that appear on the site.

We may suspend or block access — technically or otherwise — where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken, without prior notice.

You keep all rights you already hold in the names, words and text you enter. We do not claim ownership of the designs you generate, and because the generation happens in your browser, we never receive a copy.

You are solely responsible for the text you create and for how you use it, including whether it complies with the rules of any game, social network or messaging platform. You confirm that you have the right to use any personal name you enter.

If you send us feedback or a suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to improve the Service, without obligation to you.

The site's design, layout, original written content, code and curated style collections are owned by the operator and protected by copyright and other laws. You may link to any page and share individual designs freely, but you may not copy or republish a substantial part of the site without written permission.

Unicode characters themselves are not owned by anyone. Names and logos of third-party products — including Free Fire, PUBG, BGMI, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Discord and Google — are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

The Service is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Garena, Krafton, Meta, ByteDance, Discord, Google or any other game publisher or social platform.

Those platforms set their own naming rules, character filters and prices. A name that works today may be blocked by a future update. In particular, some games charge in-game currency to change a nickname. You are responsible for checking any cost before confirming a rename, and we cannot refund in-game purchases, reverse a ban or restore a changed name.

We aim to keep the Service online and free, but we may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, including adding or removing individual styles and pages. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free or compatible with every browser or device.

The site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that generated names will be accepted by any platform, that they will render identically on every device, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or in-game assets, arising from or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This includes, without limitation, losses resulting from a name being rejected, changed, reset, banned or flagged by a third-party platform, or from in-game currency spent on a rename.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights, or liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator, its team and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you create with it that infringes the rights of another person.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Nothing in this section prevents you from relying on mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence, or from bringing a claim before a competent local court where the law gives you that right.

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or to legal requirements. The updated version will always be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Changes take effect when published, and your continued use of the site after that date means you accept the revised Terms.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
